Me either. I'm hoping my uncle works it out to get one when they are available. He has a dealer that may sell to him for 5 over sticker, if so then he will buy it. But dealers don't always do what they say they will, especially when there's talk of people paying 50 over.

I just have to convince my friend to trade his 08' Z06 for one. Unfortunately, his Z has spent a lot of time in the shop for little things so he is still on the fence about the ZR1. He says he will own one but maybe not the first ones. Hell, his Z06 now is just raw. I can only imagine what the ZR1 would be.

Yeah, I've driven the Z06 quite a bit and it is very raw. Honestly I wouldn't need anything more than that. Its almost worthless on the street because you can't go past 2nd gear without reaching jail speeds. The car is a blast to drive though and I can only imagine the zr-1. It should sound incredible as well.

This makes no sense.
It is the fastest car out there bang for the buck. Name one car in that price range that produces that kind of power and those kind of times/numbers. The spec v gtr may produce those numbers around the ring or even a little better but will cost more than the regular gtr and still be left in the dust after 100mph.
I also can't wait to see how many of the gtr's drivetrains take a shit after they are tested by real world people in real world situations. The launch control is awesome and allows for great times, but how long will it last...

Get it.
And there is no such thing as a Spec V GTR.
FYI only 338 dealers out of 4000 nationwide will see a ZR1 on their lot, so I doubt there will be as many around as the Z06.

I heard rumors on the internets that there are still 700 2009 GT-R's unsold and that delivery will begin July 7. Does anyone know of any VA dealers with unsold allotments selling for msrp?

I work at a nissan dealer and we have allocations for at least 2. We won't be receiving ours until august or later. Shit we havn't even gotten our managers and mastertech to gtr training yet. Nissan is really dragging their feet on getting the car out. They will all be at msrp in a few months anyway.
