newbie thread about stolen cars?
i know cars getting stolen left and right
no matter what city your in, but why cant other cities get some bait cars like they do in newport news and in va beach? rumors have it that va beach used to use a red supra and a gray mustang, and a white integra to cut down on street racing and theft. and now newport news has a green dc2 4 door turbo'd integra, and a red eg hatch with a b16 in it. supposedly these things got GPS systems in them and other po po stuff. from what i hear their bait cars are "for sale" to lure theves in and maybe catch them in the act? i donno?? all i know is thats a step forward to cut down on theft. i know in some other cities like hampton and york county and williamsburg they could give a rats ass. Why dont other cities follow the same path as newport news and va beach??? discuss....
