well, i wasnt expecting to see this when i logged intoday, lol.

ill be back in a few more months jumpn. But first i have to run up to michigan to pick up all my new goodies for the ride. Here is the list of everything i have bought in the last 4 months

Carbon fiber SS style hood
20 inch RC-5 triple chrome plated rims
LAMBO door kit
OBX header
turns out the place i ordered the venom intake from doesnt have any left so they refunded my money. So now i bought an OBX intake manifold for an 02 2.4L cavalier. I have to take it to a welding shop and have it customized to fit my motor.
Halo headlights
Altenza Tail lights
3rd break light LED
1.5 inch drop springs
pioneer avic-n3 touch screen dvd/gps navigation head unit
AEM LED boost gauge
AEM LED trany temp gauge
AEM LED wideband AFR gauge w/ wideband sensor
AEM fuel/ignition controller
triple pod pillar
siemens 60# injectors
Stage III STS turbo system w/ digital boost controller
Red gauge face overlay w/ TURBO as the text
Ingalls trq damper

Sorry, I'm confused.. These aren't your mods, are they? You were doing so well.. There are sooo many things wrong with that list..
My favorite is the 20 inch rims with the 1.5 inch drop springs. Riiiight.. Oh, the tranny temp gauge is good too. That's really important compared to the other things that you could put in that pillar pod.

the 20's are for show room, not for street use, i have a nice set of 17's on the car that i use for that

I feel the trany temp is important to me since my trany is a shitty automatic one

Oh no, those are mods i they have been paid for in full and sitting at a house waiting for me to come home to pick them up.

The mods that ARE installed already are as follows

Wiseco forged 8.9:1 pistons
Eagle forged h-beam rods
Ferrera valves and duel valve spring kit w/ titainium retainers
Comp Cams Stage 1
3 angle valve job on the head
Honed cylinders
ACL rod bearings
ARP head studs
cometic head gasket
Dyno Tune 2 stage 125hp nitrous system
B&M Shiftplus shift improver
Poly-urathane trany mounts
17 inch Urban racing Type 8 rims
Drifter 2 body kit
Fujita CAI

all that othe stuff that i have in the other post are things that are waiting to be installed and in my posession.

Let me shorten the list, and save you some money.

1.5 inch drop springs
pioneer avic-n3 touch screen dvd/gps navigation head unit
AEM LED boost gauge
AEM LED trany temp gauge
AEM LED wideband AFR gauge w/ wideband sensor
AEM fuel/ignition controller
triple pod pillar
siemens 60# injectors
Stage III STS turbo system w/ digital boost controller
Ingalls trq damper

That should do it. Keep the appearance tasteful. The only people who won't laugh at halo headlights, lambo doors, and altezza tails are other clueless people who have the same things. You sound like a nice enough guy, but I draw the line at poor taste. The hood I omitted because little style scoops just make things look tacky. I understand that there is probably a lot of similar mod'ing going on in the Cobalt community, and I can't understand why people still do things that were considered poor taste (and out of fashion) 10 years ago. Keep it clean, simple, and tasteful, and it will always stay current.

that is your opinion. If i spent my life trying to please others rather then i would have drove myself crazy a long time ago.

im not arguing with you or anything of the sort. those are just things that i've liked and wanted on my first car but didnt have the money to do it.

I never do things that are considered "the norm" or "popular" or "flavor of the month" what ever you want to call it. I always do things different. I dont bash other peoples cars for what they do to it. Nor will i ever.

So those arn't things that you are into, thats cool. And besides even if i wanted to i couldnt delet those from my list since they have already been purchased and are sitting at my parents house waiting for me to come back from deployment.

sorry if this is coming across like a dick or something. that was def not my intentions.
