Pinning is kinda sketchy IMO. It's very very hard to do well without making unequal sleeve stress at temperature. It's just not a good idea to support a hot metal tube at a bunch of points instead of an even area. I know they used to use it in NASCAR way back when but it was a little more sophisticated than throwing a bunch of set screws through the block. Deck guards are a better idea, or getting the deck welded closed and then machining all the critical bits. There are nice block guards out now that have a good amount of open area for water flow, unlike the early ones..
Any of those are still cheaper than getting a drop-in closed top sleeve set..

I cannot find the link for the site, but there is quite a bit of room for coolent. i dont like posting for the reasons fabrik8 posted, and I worry about the thin walls on a b20. If anyone can think of a better idea, Im open to suggestions

Honestly I'd get a sleeve kit, stock B20 sleeves are weak anyway, might as well replace them.

Why go through the trouble of building a custom supercharger kit? Take an off the shelf kit for the motor and run with it. After haiving worked on a couple Lysholms I can honestly say it is way overrated. The Lysholm is also very particular in how it is mounted and fed with oil. After having read so many posts about it in the g60 forum I would not recomend anybody use it for custom applications. Hell for all the trouble, dollars and WHP it makes much more sense to go turbo.

honestly, if you bothered to read the first post, you would know that no "off the shelf" blower can spin that high, and not blow. and i hate beltdriven turbos, so thats out. in addition, with the engine setup im going with, makeing bottom end is very important. Also, I have had lynshomes on a g60, and a 2.0 x-flow set up.
