Saleen should have just gone the extra mile and done the whole RWD conversion and put the V8 in it. As it is now, it's just not worthy of the Saleen name.

 

at least they remove all doubt on the specifications page.... "Saleen bi-plane rear wing"


I wonder if it comes with a Saleen paper bag in the glove box you can wear so you won't be seen driving this shitbox.

 

that car is hideous. i love saleen mustangs... but god damn, they should shoot whoever came up w/ that idea for the focus. And its just an idiotic idea that it doesn't have a turbo or supercharger... yipee nitrous!

 

it reallly is factory rice. there should have been more "focus" on acctual performance than a shot of n2o. tell me if im reading this wrong guys, but is it 250hp beofre the shot. or after? casue if it maxes at 250hp after/during the nitrus shot isnt a basically a stock focus witha nasty body it and a bottle?

 

It's after... it says on the specs page its only got 150hp, so I guess they just added a 100 shot to it

oh, and on a side note... with a company as distinguished as saleen... you would really think they would have a better website. the one they have looks like it was made by a middle schooler.

how much hp does a stock zx3 have? if i remeber right the SVT zx3 has 180hp. i would think saleen would at least try to out do SVT.

 

Hmm, either 170 or 180, I can't remember. Then again I really don't follow fords, and if I did I wouldn't be looking at the Focus

 

The 2.0 is 130, the 2.3 is 10-15 more (I think)

Somebody said they should have SC the 2.3; thats exactly what I was thinking.
