and i also envy you, the closest I get to a computer at work is when i'm pricing tires for customers....

really and truly i might end up trading it for an 01 SE at a dealer locally, so i'd be paid off and have an SR20, it'd be a pretty decent power drop, but i'd get the good gas mileage and longetivity advantages, and cheaper insurance. according to geico, as soon as i put my spec in my name my insurance will be in the 6k/yr range for full coverage (the lowest level of it)... can't have that.

It's really not that bad after you fix the 2 main problems. One which was fixed for 06+ being the butterfly screws. The other thing is the precat which you already took care of with a header. Earlier ones had head gasket issues, but not many of the 04+ have that except for the QG.
