Man you gotta give us more than that.

This is what it could look like...

About 15 grand and overnight parts from Japan, this car will decimate all!

AHAHAHAHAh o buddy you have come to the wrong place. There are so many people here that know what they are talking about, that i can count them using my fingers only...maybe couple toes.
Not to say that at my350z.com everyone knows what they are talking about but advice from them will be based on personal expirience with the Z. Not F&F.

And you do have to give out more info then that, nobody knows what type of end effect you want to achieve nor what you have to work with as far as money goes.

If you have money do Plenum spacer, ypipe, DC sports headers. Those will yield noticeable gains.

As far as overall effect goes...I'm looking to eventually get a twin turbo put on so I was really wondering what mods would be good to put on while building towards what that will do for me. I'm really really new at this because this is the first time in my life i've ever even had a car worth messing with...aka drove a PT cruiser my parents bought for me for 7 years while I saved up cash.

Do suspension and drivetrain stuff then.

If you plan on doing the twin turbo route, do suspension and brakes before that happens for the safety of everyone else around you.

if you're really new at this, you probably shouldn't waste your money on a twin turbo kit either. should have either spent a little more on a car that's faster from the factory, or bought an older car to go crazy with before attempting to heavily modify a car that's most likely your only means of transportation.

/soapbox

suspension, brakes, drivetrain like the more experienced and reputable members of the board have already mentioned. of course, you're going to want to do random stuff to make it quicker or sound better (at least in your own mind), but i see you've already thrown away whatever you spent on your intake. very, very likely that a full turbo kit will come with a pair of open-element air filters to pop on the end of said turbos.

there really is not much you can do as far as performance modifications to the engine that won't either a)be replaced by the turbo kit, or b) provide any considerable benefit until the turbo kit is installed. i could tell you to buy bigger injectors, a fuel pump, or a programmable engine management system to get more power out of a turbo car, but they wouldn't do shit until you get the turbo installed anyway. you have intake and exhaust, that's all i would recommend to dork around with now if you plan an overhaul later.

If you are gonna go twin turbo the only perfomance mods I would do would be plenum spacer, high flow cats, and a nice exhaust system.

Just make sure the exhaust has a large diameter for FI. 3" or greater.

You could also get a engine managment system as well, since your gonna have to get it anyways.

Other mods you might want to look into before going FI would be a oil pan spacer, better radiator, upgraded clutch/flywheel, and maybe some guages.
