Question Need advice on gauge manuf...

Hello all,
I'm looking to add a boost and egt gauge to my canr and wanted some advice on which brands to buy. I know autometer has been in the game forever bu ti'm also pretty sure there are others out there as well.

If you guys are using anything different (autometers are fine too) please let me know and post pics if you can

Thanks

How much is that guage?

AEM Tru Boost and Wideband are pretty nice.

I stick with the good ol' fashion Autometer Z-Series with push-lock fittings on it.
Then I make sure it's legit thru checkin the MAP.

~$200 IIRC.

That's the stepper motor one, i.e. comes with a sensor. They have cheaper ones, but they're not as nice IMO, the sweep isn't as big or require the actual lines to be run to the meter.

I've only had Autometer, Defi and Greddy gauges.(last two being the electronic)

Stack's site explaining the differences between the gauges: http://www.stackltd.com/instruments.html

Defi makes good stuff for the money, and they look really nice. Most decent gauges will give the same performance using standard sensors, so aesthetics usually drives my decisions..

I like Stack and some other brands also, but they don't really match anything. So unless you're building a race car and don't care....
