now by no means am i a mustang "expert" but i think i know a fair amount about the car to be a 17 year old kid. But today i ran into a so called "fact" that puzzled me. For the longest time i have know there to be Mustang GT and Cobra, But never heard the term Mustang GT Cobra describing one car. Evidently this man had one of the very rare 1990 mustang GT Cobra. he stated that only 550 were made and are hard to come by. so this is my question to you, is there a such thing? or was this man just fooled when he bought the car because there was cobra rims on a GT?

thats a negative im pretty sure. i did a google search and nothing came up.... the guy probably bought it thinking that is what it was.. People are really stupid sometimes when buying cars.

 

In the States the only fox body Cobras were made in 1993. The Canadian GTs were sometimes designated as Cobras.

What color was the car? There is another possibility, which would be called a SAAC "snake", but I don't think they made 550 of them.

 

yea the cobra came out in 1993 when SVT was born. if it's a 90, it ain't a cobra. Saleen was around though.

 

I just learned that a few days ago researching Mustangs

 

the car was blacked out pretty much

black exterior
black interior
black wheels

now idk if that was done custom or if i came stock like that but thats what colors it was

The dude has no clue what he has; the SAAC cars were white with blue stripes. The only chance it has of being a Cobra is if it came from Canada.
