i cant decide what motor i want..... when i get my car in december i am gonna do a swap shortly after i get it.. i am planning on getting a 88-91 honda civic hatch. can u all please help me out..

why r u gettin a old hb!? those things are hidieous(sp?)! haha get a crx instead atleast they look a little bit better heh

for roughly $1200, you can get a jdm 1st gen b16a. it's pre-obd as a crx is. i believe the b16a2 (civic si) is obd-2. you'd have a harder time swapping the a2 than the b16a, because of the rewiring you'd have to do. i would rebuild the engine while it was out of the car, as it's probably been sitting for some time. and to swap any b-series engine into a crx, you'll need b-series mounts.

i was thinking about getting a b16a1 from hmotors... so you all will see me in a bout a year driving around is a EJ hatchback with prolly a b16a1
