im just wondering what kinda security system the BMW has, and how it can be #1?

 

look at all those integras. i'm glad no one wants my slow ass accord.

 

Security systems haven't meant shit to car theifs for years. With a small car all they do is drive up with a big ass truck with a wench and drag it into the back and drive off. It can make all the beeps and whistles it wants but nobodies gonna hear it. Cars are usually stolen based on part demands and good chop shops/theives don't care what kinda security they got.

It's a numbers game. There were only 985 M roadsters were sold in the US in year 2001, therefore if you someone stole 10 of them it will severely affect the #stolen/#made ratio.

It's pretty much the same thing with the Marauder, S4 and XKR.

 

i read that in that magazine a few months ago. the integra was the number one stolen car in america...they were also going thru in detail to reduce the risk of having your car stolen...giving many options....

but they also stated that if the thief wants your car....he will take it...

 

Yeah, and SIX of the ten are Integras That is why my damn insurance doesn't go down!!!
