how long does it usually take you guys to get to MIR? what route do you take? how much does it usually cost to run at the Test & Tune?

 

takes about 3-3.5 hours from vb, i dont know how much test and tune is, i only go to events up there but i think its like 15 dollars, not totally sure........

 

I was at a Test & Tune just recently. I think it was 30 bucks (12 for sepectator only), but you can get in 7+ runs if you get there early and don't take long between them.

For me, its about 55 minutes to get there. The final stretch is 301N to 234E.

It used to take @ 3 hours from Chesapeake. It is probably @ 40 minutes from where I live now.

thanks for the info guys. looks like i'm not goin nowhere. there is a test & tune tonight (wed.)gates open at 6pm

 

you can take 17 all the way up and turn-off i think @ 301 which will bring you right in to Budd's Creek

 

MIR has always been a good time for me. I've only been a couple times though. Took about 3-4 hours from VB.

Warning: Beware of deer on 17.

Traumatic experience coming back from MIR last fall...
