ls1 help
as most of you know i have a 2000 ls1 camaro. due to a past ticket i had to get my car's speedo checked.
turned out when its reading 60, im actually doin 65.
tickets were dropped due to this but im still faced with the problem of my speedo being off.
i havent done much researching around but apparently a camaro SS is pretty hard to get calibrated.
you need to get the pcm reflashed or have a special tuning program like
ls1edit.
anyone know if this is right?
and any suggestions on where to go that is cheap and reliable?
ive been told not to go to va beach because of some shops letting people "magically" getting their speedos being off. and judges wont respect the reciept if theres a posibility you did this.

Re: ls1 help
i say find someone who had ls1edit, or hptuners and ask them to do it for you. its really easy and they probably wont charge you anything or much at all.

Re: ls1 help
well my car is stock, there was no way for me to assume my car was 5mph off at those speeds. unless everytime i get a new stock car i get the speedo checked
i was reading exactly 55mph but going 60, not my fault
and thanks for the advice guys, ive got a chart saying how much im off at multiple speeds so a calibration shouldnt be too tough.
anyone want to lend a hand that has ls1edit, ill make it worth your while
