I've seen them before. Last one I saw was a white R34. The guy said he used some parts from a Maxima to convert it.
That said, I'd NEVER ever even consider converting it to LHD.

it would be cheaper to just learn how to shift with your left hand.

There are no LHD GT-R's ~_~
They're all conversions. Maybe the guy bought it like that, but Nissan sure didn't make it that way.
