I am currently looking into a Lexus SC400 and I am going to look at it on Tuesday. I have browsed for some Lexus web forums and I found some but I was wondering if anyone knows anymore. Also is there any stores specified for these cars? Info on the 2JZGTTE swap? Thanks.

 

There is one for sale up here in gloucester for 7k. Clean as hell. I can get you a number if you like.

I already found one. I am just looking where to find info for them now & where to buy parts for some good prices and 2JZGTTE swap info.

 

That swap is a monster >< it's much easier to find a sc300 since it has the 6wiring vs. the 8wiring. What most people do is find a soarer front clip and do it that way. I've seen Soarer front clips go for ~$3500 shipped. While your doing the conversion, do the auto-manual, and if you got some time do a RHD. So best bet...find a beater sc300-400, buy a Soarer front clip, and please find one with a BLACK interior that Tan Interior is gross. hope this helps.

try jhotimports.com.....they are very good friends of mine mainly ebay based...but they also have pick up options in georgia......good prices and ask for gabe he's the man to talk to......they own the lot in japan,the shipping containers and the business here so theres no middle man to hike up the prices...plus they offer a warranty...30 day start up i believe.....they normally get containers on a monthly basis...and they can preorder if your willing to leave a deposit...these are the guys i delt with in augusta at my old shop and did quite a bit of business with...i never had a problem...thanks,jon......one more thing their number is 706-364-6446 and they are open m-f 9-5.....tell them curl referred you they know me

 

Dang the only problem with that is I am going to be a little longer than 30 days for sure and I want to make sure it runs right.
