Default Legal ride height
where are the cops suppose to measure you car. Is it the middle of the straight beam or the top?

middle...which IMO is a great way for them to leave it open to interpretation...translation: if they like you, they let it slide, if they don't...busted....

i didnt know they were strict about it like that in va, but i think they measure from the top of the bumper to the ground.

normally they'll just give u a ticket for faulty equipment/suspension.

NO guys its the lowest Parallel surface of the "Main" Bumper. Which basically means the bottom of your impact bar. those of you that still have them. your main bumper isright under the headlights. I guess If I had some pics I could show you. but basically for cars it's 14 inches. they aren't suppose to measure the lowest part of the car which many of them do.

Actually look at my Avatar see that bar under my headlights and grille. that's my main bar. Also I'm not sure ig it's 14" but most cars even dropped ones meet the requirement. I never really cared enough about lowered cars to write them so i don't bother to look it up.

14'' from the lowest point on your horizontal bumper...basically left to interpretation.
