The last Skyline as you kids know it....
Too bad the Tommy Kaira edition of the skyline is so much sweeter, and if you're lucky, you could get one. there's currently only one in the US, and the owner is the luckiest man alive, with a pricetag far short of 170K for the same features, some better, some worse... now, Nissan has always been a fantastic company since Datsun became extinct, and even when Datsun was Nissan. Nissan, since the beginning, has always made a goal of offering style, comfort, and performance (for it's era) at an affordable price... with the exception of the 1990-1996 300ZX when there was a supercar battle between Nissan (300ZX,) Mazda (RX-7,) Mitsubishi (3000GT,) and Toyota (Supra.) It was feared that the same battle would reignite in our modern age, but due to economical planning and strategic timing from Nissan and other companies, the Big explosion of the 90's was not relived. MY ex-bassist's dad used to race 240Z's back in the day professionally, so my knowledge of Nissan and oldschool performance is not shortlived, I follow closely.
if we got about 7 of us together, we could sell one kidney each to the UT Austin, and make 30 grand a piece, and share the damn thing. 1 Day of driving each. I call sunday.
