sounds like he has far more money than he needs, or deserves.

i mean seriously, why admire him? he obviously had the resources to do this, or it just wouldn't have happened. i think pretty much anybody on this board, or anyone who could call themselves a car enthusiast, would have probably done the exact same thing given the circumstances and having a 'metal fabrication business' you could just up and sell to buy half a lamborghini and cruise around the land with it... except some of us who actually care about the cars we drive would have at least had the decency to get it serviced now and again...

the guy's a loser, and he's getting applauded for it. why didn't he just pour himself into his business and buy himself a lamborghini when he could actually afford it?
Your response is perfectly logical. However, you get old and then you die. Everyone is told to have a house by this age and be married by that age and have alot of money for when you are old blah blah blah. Some of us aren't worried abut all that and realize these really are the best years of our lives and don't want to waste them away being drones and trying to do what society has told us to do. I don't even expect to make it to retirement. 165mph is as comfortable as 60mph to me. If I could do what this guy did I would in a heartbeat. I have been planning to for quite some time actually. If I tried to do it right now I would have to make armed robbery an option to fund it, luckily I have morals and can't do that. So I'm waiting it out, getting my car in top shape, and saving.

Yes that was on my 2003 Yamaha R6 and an empty interstate. Only car I've ever been to 165mph in that felt stable was a C6Zo6. My S2000 and a friend's FD felt pretty good around 150mph.

Story is cool. Good luck with the debt though. Driving around at 165 isnt comfortable and is fucking scary.
