You take off any line connected to the intake pipe so that it sucks the Seafoam into the engine. It's purpose is to remove any carbon build up inside the engine that may have formed.

I live right by a high school. I did it right when they got out and kids were walking home. I made them disappear.

I've seen it at numerous places to include Wal-Mart. You don't really squirt it either, but more so take off a line that is getting suction from the intake line of the running engine. Stick the hose in the bottle and the engine will ingest the Seafoam all on its own.

I also put some in the oil before an oil change and some in the gas tank.
