I love Honda, their engines are beautiful and they output just the kind of power I want when I want, you wanna hate on them... fine, Join the club. Everyone else does. Be it domestic, Nissan, Mitsubishi, hell even Hyundai's. This is rediculous...
and how many v8's need 100hp/liter? stop being so goddamn one-sidedly ignorant.

I'd also love to see that dyno sheet for that "dc5" with 290whp, im sure its possible but curious none the less. I know people have built b20 vtecs to mid 200's.
you must not know much about K's then? there are many out there that make over 300whp easily, inlinepro's streetcar makes over 330whp. i know of a stock tsx engine w just bolt-ons making over 265whp, you should read up on it before you make comments you know nothing about. not being a dick man cuz ur cool as shit, just stating facts

My friends cam only K made right around 250whp. It may be a couple more.

I can't remember what it made torque wise.

It was a stock K-20. Pro1 cams. Bolt ons. IIRC thats all he had.

I'm glad my stepdad isn't ignorant to imports. Why can't people appreciate what people are doing with little motors?

I thought it was stupid on their part to say how ugly the setup on the dc5 looked. If a simular looking setup was on a v8, they would praise it. They just despised it because it was on a 4 cylinder. I originally started the same thread on honda-tech, all the replies started coming from those members. I thought it was funny that when you sign up you get a gold star (like for superiority). And you only need like 100 posts or so to become a superior member.

I'm sure you could show me a modded K series to keep up with my bone stock 1999 corvette...

but why compared MODDED cars to stock cars? I throw i/h/e/cam in mine and all the sudden you guys are again more cars back in street trim....its a tired arguement that i dont want to get into too.

Even when i was so honda this and that, all these kids argue like every damn "v8" car is stock....great you can beat a stock car witha heavy modded car....wooohooo
