I was wondering for those of you that own two vehicles, how much does it usually run to add a secondary vehicle onto your insurance policy?

I ask because my job is delivering for papa johns, and I'm putting way too many miles on my MR2. I'd like to get a beater to drive for work, but I was wondering how much more my insurance bill is gonna be with a second car on it. I've never owned more than one vehicle before, and i've heard that it can be as little as 200 more every six months but i've also heard it can also double your insurance. I have Geico.

it only cost me an extra 40 bucks a month to have a 95 nissan altima without full coverage as my second car i have a clean record but im only 20 hope that helps.

 

they will be good to you, just put liability on it.. you should be fine..


but if either of your cars ever get stolen... geico will bend you over and fuck you in the ass.

 

yah that helps, I'm 19 and i've only got one speeding ticket on my record. So I guess it shouldn't be much more for me..

It all depends man. Questions like this cant be answered by anyone but your insurance company. I pay $135 a month for full cov. on a 07 Passat, 02 Spectra, 99 civic.

 

when i added another car to my e-surance, it doubled my premium. i'm thinking about switching to geico, they are so much cheaper.

 

I pay a little less than _________ with a 2003 20ae vw, 2001 ITR and a 2006 GSX-R600.

When I had a 1988 Honda Civic and 2004 VW R32, it was cheaper to have full coverage on the Civic as the primary vehicle and put the R32 as the secondary vehicle. That was cheaper than if I had the R32 as primary with full coverage and the civic as secondary with liability.

You gotta know how to work the system.

 

How bout you just call your insurance company and get a quote.
