Default Insurance Costs... What's yours?

Well I upgraded my insurance today. All this shit about people gettin' their wips jacked got me nervous, on top of it I just got mine painted and perdy.

Anywho...

I have USAA and I was payin' $50/month for liability only. I upgraded to $1000 collision deductable (I just happen to have $1000 for a rainy day so why not?) and $0 deductable for non-collision (shit like THEFT (assholes), vandalism, etc.) I also added on roadside assistance for $1/month.

So overall I pay $91/month now for full coverage... Not bad, I think. Whats everyone else pay?

Haha! I have ONE CONVICTION on my record... I rear ended someone and got a 'following too close'. I play hockey with a lawyer and he hooks me up. He's done wonders for my driving record! lol!

I have an 'incorrect lane change' (which i was legitimately not at wrong doing) and he got me outta that. I also have a speeding (71/55 in suffolk) and he told the judge that I'm a fulltime college student, Army ROTC, and a prospective Army aviator and that the conviction could hurt my chances of flying... Got driving school. Oh that is all true, but I doubt a speeding conviction would hinder me, heh. Then I also got a disreguarding hiway sign only because the officer wasn't certified with the radar so she said she paced me, lyin' whore. Lawyer just said that I have no speeding convictions (true, ) and that I'm not a speeder, so now I'm on a year probation. *ouch, felt that in the ass*

So if the insurance company only knew. Hehe! But then again, look at the sig and see what I drive, insurance isn't a bitch on those.
