Inspection stickers.
Can you put them in a corner? I wanted to put my inspt and reg. stickers in the lower driverside corner i hate them being in the middle. Is it against the law?

damn, this is a good question that i'd like to definitively know the answer to as well.
since i've only got one sticker, it just looks... well, kind of dumb just sitting all crooked in the middle.

yup you can get a ticket. It would be the same kinda ticket you would get for putting your license plates in your front windshield. You wouldn't get a ticket for not having it, rather improperly displaying it.

Yes, I asked a Portsmouth cop about this. Not sure about the other cities, but you can get a ticket in P-town for improper display. Seems pretty anal retentive to me. I mean, as long as it can be seen, it shouldn't matter.

Has anyone had any actual problems with it? I think i've seen a few cars with them to the side. But Its always bothered me from day one. Not to mention i have my stupid town sticker to go with it.

no it is illegal he was just probably lucky. it states specifically where to display your sticker when you get it. I have a feeling most cops would care thou as long as you have it... but you never know when you'll get pulled over by an asshole

Here's the law:
It is quite amazing the disinformation that can be found on the internet, where people would get off saying it is legal I have no idea.
On all windshields, except school buses, the sticker is to be placed at the bottom of the windshield so that the inside or left edge of the sticker is one inch to the right of the vertical center of the windshield when looking through the windshield from inside the vehicle. (If the vehicle is normally operated from the right side, the sticker must be placed one inch to the left of the vertical center of the windshield.)
