inspection question

Default inspection question
my car comes equipped w/ an air bag and in my accident it came out, to get my car inspected and passed, do i have to replace it w/ an airbag system again or can i put a racing wheel in and get passed?

Im pretty sure that if your car came equipped with an airbag system that EVERYTHING having to do with the system has to be functioning properly in order to pass inspection. Ill check with my boss at work to find out for sure.

If you have an air bag, it must work properly. If you dont have an air bag, dont worry about it.

If you end up getting an aftermarket steering wheel make sure is the same size (diameter) as stock. If it isn't then you won’t pass at most places.

Youll pass as long as you dont blurt out.. oh.. my airbag doesent work. And as long as your airbag light isent on.

jsut cut hte ari bad out put the cover back on then cut the airbass light wire that connected to hte gague cluster ghetto but it works...LOL

I think it is federal law that if you car comes with an air bag in the steering wheel you can't replace with one that doesn't have one. I matbe mistaken though.
