I'm thinking about getting a Mini Cooper S. Looking for some intel on them. I have been doing reserch on the web, but didn't know if there were any Mini Cooper owners on the forum. Didn't know if there are any specific year I should stay away from, problems,etc..........

 

im pretty sure they have their own forum. but i hear the newer turbocharged ones are much nicer than the supercharged ones.

+1 on DC/DC. Also, milanored95eg has one as well with some knowledge of them. You might try shooting both of them a PM or hopefully they will post in here.

 

turbo model for sure. almost 95% of it's torque available at a whopping 1700-1900 rpm.

 

I almost bought an 04 S. I love that car.

 

I own a 2006 S. I absolutely love it. It is so much fun to drive. It is like driving a go kart with a big engine.
