look jdm vs usdm, will no shit that jdm is stronger, for stock. but if you are going to change out rods and pistons and do head work, get a usdm and save money.

i dont think jdm is necessarily stronger at all. id say they are probably weaker in a lot of cases.

i think they make a little more power than their usdm counterparts, but with the laws overseas about getting rid of older cars, they tend to beat the shit out of them and rarely change the oil. im betting that a 30,000 mile JDM motor tends to be worn much past the point of 30,000 miles USDM on average. more wear and tear, less maintenance, pushing hard on the car knowing it only has to last a few years = much more wear than we usually see over here.
