I'm selling my car which was stolen and stripped, but I still am trying to find out where these fuckers live to tear them a new asshole. When the car was recovered, it had a green hood. I ran the vin on the hood and carfax said that it was a 2000 civic ex registered in oxon hill, md. The vin is 1HGEJ8244YL091626, and the title #31557047. The car was stolen from manassas, virginia, and since the other vin is from out of state the police say they can't do a damn thing. So if anybody can help me, please let me know.

Most likely that hood was stolen too or from a junk yard or something other than leading you to the thieves. Even if it is the thieves how are you gunna find out it was truly them? You're just going to be running in circles.
