the car is a 99 coupe with a b16 dohc vtec ,which has been sitting for 3 months , i changed the oil, the car fires right up when u drive it, sometimes the oil light comes on and it bogs down like the motor is starving for oil ,can someone give me suggestions on what to do ,

 

Well starving for oil= bad oil pump. alot of times

 

how many miles. It's prob a good idea to do the fuel filter as well.

 

Look for shavings in the oil.

Oil pressure will decrease as your bearing clearances change (spun bearing)
