Abacus Machine Shop. I had my head dropped off to have tested and make sure it is good and is able to handle what I want to do to it. I bought a complete GSR swap for 1200 USDM swap. The head had noise and the clutch was exploded when it was pulled out. Anyway I am building it to put it in my CRX. I finnaly got around to pulling the head to take to Abacus. I have heard nothing but good things on here about them and my freinds at next level all say the same thing. I have heard bad things about them also from an ex mechanic from BBA. So I am not to worried about what he says. Just thought I wouls start this thread so when I get it back and take my block there and get that back I would have some where to report my feelings on them.

did you get this gsr motor from somebody at next level...lol i know whos car it came out of and i hope to God its getting rebuilt.

Abacus bbuilt a sohc motor for me about two years ago....any machine work I need done will always go through them. I gave that motor a beating like you wouldnt believe. 75 shot daily dosage. I was burning up 2 bottles a weak for a while.....had 2 detonations and it was still running perfect.

I've heard nothing but good things about Abacus.

My friend's LS head was machined there also.

yeah we put a type r in his car I forgot his name. Trust me its getting rebuilt
