I'll be at Summit Point later in the year, it's right down the road from me. The car should be finished in plenty of time, hopefully.

If you have never run with NASA before you will have to have an instructor, unless you come in with a ton of previous experience that you can prove. If you get an instructor that talks in the middle of corners just ask him/her not too, though it may not be all that bad. Depends on what he/she is saying and how he/she is saying it. They tend to match up students with instructors that drive a similar car. You can request an instructor if you know someone.

So no experience is needed? I don't want to get out there and hold everyone up by being the weakest link.

how are you ever going to get expierence without starting at the bottom.

dont be nervous to be the weakest link but be prepared to learn and develope.

ive got a few questions. i knwo i should do research, but the sites usually tend to beat around the bush, or not provide enough information.

how much does it cost? what kind of reqirements are there as far as car/driver/age limits/experience, etc...? how hard is it to get signed up? things of that nature. info appreciated

$289 for the HPDE at VIR (full course) on feb 21-22nd.

Be a member of NASA. www.nasaracing.net $20 a year i think.

Have your car teched with their tech sheet, no expierence reuire i believe.

Ill let the instructor fill in the blanks or correct me.

Trip pretty much covered it. Any car you want as long as it passes tech. If it is a convertible then a roll bar is needed. Age is 18 but 16 with parental consent. Sign up on line, very easy.
