HPDE Open Track Events
If you have never run with NASA before you will have to have an instructor, unless you come in with a ton of previous experience that you can prove. If you get an instructor that talks in the middle of corners just ask him/her not too, though it may not be all that bad. Depends on what he/she is saying and how he/she is saying it. They tend to match up students with instructors that drive a similar car. You can request an instructor if you know someone.

how much does it cost? what kind of reqirements are there as far as car/driver/age limits/experience, etc...? how hard is it to get signed up? things of that nature. info appreciated

$289 for the HPDE at VIR (full course) on feb 21-22nd.

Trip pretty much covered it. Any car you want as long as it passes tech. If it is a convertible then a roll bar is needed. Age is 18 but 16 with parental consent. Sign up on line, very easy.
