How to protect amplifier in trunk?
Hey everyone,
I got some stuff I want to put in my trunk thats pretty heavy and can roll around but I dont want it slamming into my amplifier. Is there any way I can get some kind of hard, maybe metal, amp protector? I was thinking like some kind of metal grate that I can put over it and screw down.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Also, in the area of cutting and making things that work with the needs of amps (proper ventilation, mounting in the trunk, etc etc) im a complete and totally ignorant newb on that one. :P
Im really looking for a simple fix that I can buy and screw over it like a cover.

well, any cover will offer a nice trap for heat unless it's perforated or something. i would suggest expanded steel grate.

Metal grate or cage of some sort.
Either that, or find a way to secure the stuff that's in your trunk so it doesn't smash wantonly into your amp.
side note: at first I typed "secure the junk in your trunk" before realizing I typed that.

Do any local shops sell a product like this? (or any online shops)
Otherwise, am I correct in assuming that this an item that needs to be custom made?
Thanks everyone!

Im surprised this question hasnt been brought up before. Even mounted on the back of the backseat, the amp is still vulnerable to wanton cargo rollage.
Thanks
