Looks like V6 swaps into civics will be the next big thing, only thing is, they havent made a hood to fit.

x2. i been researching this swap for a while...specifically the j30 from the 03-05 accord (more hp, same torque, cheaper motor...), but i've been debating doing the manual (ive heard various things about converting automatic signal from ecu to manual being difficult). plus the auto tranny can be found way cheaper and im not planning on 400+hp lol.

A good 250/210 with minor bolt-ons for city driving would be nice...plus 25 mpg.

but it all depends on what you plan on using the car for. it probably throws the weight of the car off the scales, and the handling goes to shit.....

Nope. There's a dude in NC that did the swap, and will be tracking it this weekend. Just driving it around it apparently still handles well. We'll see how it does on the track.

not too too bad obviously optimal is 50/50
im at 56/44 at the moment. with dingle cam and full interior.
this is from an autox standpoint and optimal is only by crunching numbers. i feel like i need to lean more towards 60/40 to gain a tad of stability.
im sure straight line desires much different weight balance

50/50 weight being "optimal" is arguable. I'd say 45/55 is slightly more preferable.
