Help me decide!
Help me decide on a new car. My budget is max 24k and the car must be 04+ and as low miles as possible obviously.
Overall goal is ability to modify, fun out of the box, and daily driveable of course.

Re: Help me decide!
mods are too expensive for too little gain on the 350Z...
G35 is only nice if you get the sport coupe...good for more than 2 ppl
STI's sound liks ass... maybe your into that tho...I hate them
S2000 great out of the box fun. throw suspension on and wheels and lip and your golden... BUT, dont try to make more power, it will bleed you dry like an NSX.
Mazda? NO.
you will thank yourself later if you use less of your 24k out of the box and have it in your wallet or even back against your loan if thats what you are working with. for around the 20-22k range why not scoop up an M3? its probably the best all-around car ive ever driven right outta the box. you can find 02-03 M3s within your budget. sex appeal, the motor sings to you, you can fit you and your girl plus yer friends, handles like its on rails, and when you mod them they have the potential to be scary fast.
As for your 2004+ rule, if thats a stipulation of your lender, then find another one. There are plenty out there that dont give BS stipulations such as car can only be "X" years old.

Re: Help me decide!
04-05 miata = 10-15K plus bell engineering turbo kit (top of the line you'll spend ~5K) plus clutch, exhaust, enginer management etc... budget another 3-4K WORST CASE SCENARIO you've met your budget at 24K and you've got aa reliable RWD roadster with 275-300 at the wheels EASY on a street tune, that's capable of running pretty good 1/4's and TEARING UP auto-crosses and road tracks.

Re: Help me decide!
HMMM....I must've been wrong thinking that the G35 and 350Z were the same car mechnically...so why are mods more cost effective on a g35 than a z again?

***Waiting for someone to quote me and tell me about the Ferrari-like handling, Honda reliability, ZOMG 120hp per liter!!!, followed by the sales pitch on an Inline Pro turbo kit that produces 500hp***
