i knew preludes got worse mpg's, but i didn't know how that would change with the lighter weight of the hatch. thanks! any other opinions out there?

i would go with the gsr hatch in my opinion...h22 trannys i have seen fail many times over and over again..the b-series is a much better platform in my opinion..ive had a gsr in my eg hatch and it moved great but i dint like waiting till 5200 to go anywhere so i dropped in a jdm high compression b20 and now my hatch rolls the hell out...glws ur purchase if both cars are a fail check my thread..GL bro..

I am going to look at 2 civic hatches tomorow. here are the two options...
92 hatch with GSR swap 115000 miles leather interior white $4500
94 hatch with h22 swap 90000 miles cloth interior white $4000
both have about the same mods, same condition. Whats the better choice for a daily driver and why?
Pros/Cons? MPG'S? put yourself in my position, what would u do?

GSR FTW. Parts aren't as hard to locate, any b-series can go in its place, and they make good power for what they are.

lol, id like to have both. The gsr guy is firm. I have tried to get him to $4000, not budging. Thanks for the input everyone. I am leaning towards the GSR even though its gonna cost more. BTW, the gsr tach jumps? He said it didnt affect the acelleration, just the needle. So im probly looking at buying a distributor if i get the gsr. Does that change any opinions?
