FWD are more expensive and difficult for maintenance than a RWD. You can not compare the sensation that you feel with RWD.

ah, the age old battle. me? i vote rwd, i drove a fwd for a while and rwd is just more fun. though im a huge fan of awd

AWD may be better for overall performance (arguable,) RWD is best for thrashing empty parking lots and having fun.

i'd probably agree that RWD is more fun, but as far as faster, either with the correct setup can be just as fast.

No.....Properly set up RWD is simply faster than front wheel drive. Hands down, I'm sorry but it's true. A FWD car is doing both the accelerating and the turning through one set of tires. RWD uses the fronts for steering and the rears for accelerating which means more available traction. So I say again, sorry but front wheel drive cars will never match the potential of rear wheel drivers. It's just physics
