Was on track w/ the Forged Tuning GTR this weekend at VIR... fucker ran a 1:59 out there. Car has bolt-ons (intake, intercooler, full exhaust) and makes about 520 awhp according to the owner Forged Tuning guy. Car was on 19" Hoosier A6s. I'm unsure about the suspension mods.

He did wreck the car on Friday but it was just body damage. In our last TT session his left side exhauast tips fell off on track. You could tell they were GTR tips because they looked like 2 coffee cans fused together

He says they only get one fast weekend out of new A6s... the car is so heavy it eats them up. Most lighter cars can get 12ish good heat cycles.

My boss was there too with his buddys company who has a couple bmw race cars. He said he saw a couple gtr's.

They will always be gay to me no matter what because I'm going to hold a grudge for their corvette shit talking. hahahahahahahaha

 

There were 3 of them. 2 were Forged Tuning cars... white/silver and the other was a dark grey and was in HPDE1.

The 2 forged cars had the interiors removed... the cars looked very busy inside w/ everything out. No flat surfaces, wires everywhere.

 

Fuck that car. Of course they are fast.

I'm just sayin'... it was nice to see one beat on, wrecked, and beat on some more. Thing sounded beast w/ exhaust.

I was jealous when I was tailing him through turn 3 and he upshifted in the middle of the turn. It was so fast I just heard a change in exhaust tone... and who the fuck shits in 3.
