That Ute is hot except for the stupid roof rake. Knock that back a few degrees and it would really be nice.. That really is Integra-like in the front, with the angled hood shut line and the headlights. I'll have to find a pic from the front..
I hope the new GTO doesn't turn into another bloated retro barge like the Charger, etc.. I'm glad that GM is letting their overseas divisions do some more design work though, those seem to be the only "domestic" cars I've ever got on board with (GTO, Solstice, Sky, etc).. The rest of the ugly domesticrap I have no interest in at all.

christ, gm is just grasping at straws. i do not get the feeling that they have a plan to right their ship.

i still predict a toyota buyout within 10 years.

I think GM is feeling the market out, trying to figure out what direction to go in to get their market share out of the toilet. Throw some concepts out, see what the buzz is, follow the popular trend.. It's done all the time, it just usually isn't this transparent..

What's wrong with Camaro quality? lol..
I know we can build cars (in this country), I just don't think we can make good design decisions...cough...new mustang...cough
I know we lost our edge a long time ago, but we're still not even trying to play catchup I don't think..

Americans can build good cars. Americans in the UAW cannot build good cars.

Your opinion is yours, and it's fine with me...but I really do believe that whether I agree with you or not about the design, it's painfully obvious by the sales numbers of the '05+ Mustangs that your opinion on it being a good decision is wrong.
