Default groupbuycenter

Anyone ever been to http://www.groupbuycenter.com/ and bought anything from it? It seems like there are some good prices on things.

I got ripped off by a company that was advertising there.

I think it has more to do with the company than groupbuycenter. But the nature of groupbuycenter does promote fly-by-night companies.

you don't actually buy anything from groupbuycenter.
You buy from the company hosting the groupbuy, so it depends on that company whether or not it's going to be a good buy or not.

I've had nothing but good luck with them. Bought so much shit for my new set up, probably around $2k and most of that was priced totalling $3k.

I bought my suspension for about $500 shipped off there. I've had a few friends use it and have good luck, and I have no personal experiences that have been bad. Just browse the site that's actually offering the deal, and email them to get a feel.

groupbuycenter used to be a great site with actual groupbuys going on and a small # of good vendors selling good stuff. Now, its just companies advertising cheap shit on there and there is rarely a true groupbuy. A real groupbuy is when a company gets a list of confirmed buyers to get parts from the manufacturer and sends the savings onto the customer. It doesnt really count as a groupbuy selling ITR look-a-like shiftknobs for $25, or advertising your companies specials.

its a good site, can sometimes find some good deals on it, but most of the deals on there arent stellar or anything real special.
