Good, Informative Integra site??
I just got an Integra about 2 weeks ago, first Acura/Honda ive owned. I will be honest i know very very little about these vehicles (i bought it for gas mileage, which so far, is great) its a 97.
Id like to know if you all have suggestions of some informative sites so i can find out more about my car, what aftermarket parts work best with this application, etc. I know i can find some forums, but whether or not they are worth a shit i dont know, so maybe some of you do from personal experience
.
Any help is appreicated, and i give you thanks in advance.
Disclaimer: (i made a thread, i expect to be flamed)

I would try Honda-Tech. Just read, read, and read, and do more reading. Because Im sure someone on there has done something that you plan on doing. And they posted their info.
Thats a start.

Probably the best site for 3rd generation Integras on the internet.
I would start off with an alarm of some sort. Lo-jack probably be your best bet because the thieves now are just riding up to ppl's vehicles and picking them up with a tow truck and driving off to do what they please with it.
Happened to my boy at the beach the other day (he drives a lowered '92 integra), he parked, went into the club, came out and car was gone. He called the towing company and they said he was parked legally and they didn't tow his vehicle. He calls the police and they can't tell him anything. A little later, a detective calls him and informs him that there is an undercover ring of unmarked tow truck thieves hitting the beach and just riding off with ppl's vehicles. Detective basically told him that he can't have his car back until the FBI/CIA bust the facility they have. And, chances are that he will never see his vehicle again.
By some random chance of luck, someone saw the tow truck driving off with his vehicle, so they ditched his car on the side of the road and got away. Luckily, he was able to get his car back with almost no damage. But, this is not always the case according to the detective.
So, I would recommend Lo-jack or some kind of GPS tracking device "FOR SHOOO" as your boy from 40-year old virgin would put it.
