Default Good Alarms?

I'm looking to get an alarm for my car with keyless entry and remote start options available on it too. I was wondering what is the best 'bang for your buck' alarm....I'm not really looking to have something installed if it's not going to be effective obviously.

And along with that, what are good websites/shops to purchase alarms from? I looked on ebay (not sure how much I trust that though), and other misc places but not sure if they're the best. Thanks in advance.

I was just reseraching the DEI (along with other alarms), and every single one that has remote start says "must be automatic transmission", but there is a way to bypass that correct? The car I will be installing it in is a manual.

Correct, you can bypass that.

Btw I've used a Viper 791xv in my past few cars. Might want to look into that model.
