Thats when i just started driving, had a 4 cylinder economy car, and didnt have a job... Sucks i could never fill my tank when it was only a $1

runs me @75$ when i have to fill up the 2500. and diesel is cheaper than regular now! at least its 20+mpg is better than the V8 1500 i had.

Ditto. I also agree, as stated earlier, that gas needs to be in the tank if you want to go somewhere so might as well just keep pumping & paying.
I do remember gas being $.80 & $.90 on base when I was a kid. I believe Spindrift187 was paying $15 to fill up the tank on his 240SX... with premium.

I rode my mt. bike (til it was stolen) everywhere and occasionally jogged. I'm in better shape than last year, feel great, and happened to save quite a bit on gas. Y'know... this is actually a way to get obeise*sp america back on track. Whadda plan eh?!

 

Gas is 3.04 here at my local BP. Costed me like 25.21 to fill my tank up, from E. 8.2 gallons of 93 octane baby.

I got 29mpg last tank. I drove to the track, ran 9 times, ran some on the way there, and then drove around town for two days... I consider that pretty good.
