Well I finally got on the dyno today for the first time since the new turbo went on. Im very impressed with the #s for a base map and no additional tuning. My base line pull was 225hp and 200tq. which was lower than my first dyno on a stock turbo. Well then we put a restrictor pill in my vacuum line and bam, a little better but not quite right. I spiked to 23 psi and made 275tq and some un godly low hp #. Well next step was to drill out the restrictor. This was the ticket. Final pulls were 272hp and 250tq. So from pull number one to the last I gained almost 50 hp and 50tq just from the restrictor pill. Boost spikes 19psi and tapers to ~17. Soon as I get somone to show me how to work my scanner Ill post the graph. Have to give a big to my good friends Keinan and Vern over at all aspects. Top notch shop and great people to do business with. And thanks again to keinan for figuring out the restrictor thing...and me ruining your life...and Vern for helping me.

what turbo? i would think your #'s would be higher even if it was a low reading dyno. ur rwd

270 is alright for a vf39'd 2.0L.

 

I havent really seen them make much more then around 270ish with a street tuner. Im still on stock header so Im thinking with that and actually getting it tuned might make some more. I mean...Im impressed being that its still the cobb off the shelf map.

 

now i see where the rwd comes in. those #s are basically a tuned awd wrx vf39 , so i guess with a good tune it should be pretty nice
