Default Falken Azenis

I'm thinking about getting these exact rims and they come with Falken Azenis tires.

Are these tires good for everday use? They seem like they are better for competitive use rather than everyday use. I heard that they are noisy and not good for highway driving.

And they probably won't last for more than 10,000 miles. But they are pretty inexpensive.

i use azzenis in the front to drift with in my ae86 and s13...they have great sticking properties since they heat up so quickly, however, when they are pushed beyond there operating temp. they slide like a over-lubed...well u get the point ..but that is what i like.

dont expect them to even make it to 10K..just my observations.

I don't expect them to. Maybe 7 or 8. I did read though that they suck when they get really hot. But I don't think i'll really be overheating them.

they get loose as a goose when over cooked. i've only overcooked mine once. it was at the end of a 20 minute road course at lowes motor speedway.

as for lasting a long time....i've had mine for exactly one year and one month. i've got about 22,000 miles on the tires. the rear wore out last month, the fronts are at half life maybe more. i dont rotate tires either.

There not as noisy as my Yokohama AVS ES-100's, and there not that bad in the rain. Just have two hands on the wheels when you hit a big puddle.
