i've got a couple cars that are going to kick your asses if you dare come out to langley this year. Anybody know the actual start date?

 

The 2006 "Extreme Sports Wednesdays" will begin in May.


The program will include:
one-on-one drag races
time attacks
burn out competitions.

Gates will open at 5:30 with racing stating at 7:00.
$8.00 for fans in the stands (Children 5 and under "Free")

$15.00 for competitors and pit entry.


**Special Requirements
All Competitors must wear a Helmet and Seat Belt.
Cars must be Street Legal.

WTF a helmet in a street car ?? I hate VA !!?!?!? i understand a firejacket in anything but, n/a. but, a helmet what if you have a 20 second dually.

 

there is still the 6-8" thick concrete walls...

 

Trust me, there are a few people that are happy they had helmets on. And 20 second duallys do nothing but get in the way.

 

it was an exaggeration. but, does this track make it mandatory to where fire jackets if car has power adder other than oem.
eg. civic turbo, supercharger, nos

Nah, I don't think so. I'd definately watch a few races before you run though.
