exhaust help needed....

Default exhaust help needed....
I just picked up a car that has the loudest "muffler"(yeah right)... I have a more stock sounding muffler that I need to get on it but the current exhaust is welded on front to back... I would like to just cut the current muffler off and put the new one on with clamps or something... unless someone knows how to and has the equipment for welding the new one on for me ... any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks

worse case scenario, take it to any muffler shop and it will cost a few bucks to get it on.
