Has anyone heard anything about a certain date for the evo coming out? I stopped by the dealer and a salesman comes up and asks if i want to trade in my car and i was like yea i want to trade it for an Evolution. His response was "Who makes the Evolution? cause I bet Mitsubishi makes something better and at a cheaper price" Thats about the time I left.

Yeah after i posted this I searched the Mitisubishi website and found a section on the Evo VIII. What happened to the US gettin the VII. the VIII has a ugly front bumper and his going to cost 32K.

i haven't read the article yet, but i believe SCC says the VIII is the same thing as the VII, but for some reason, they are just calling it the VIII in the states

i worked at a mitsu dealership, and they said they are expecting to get their first ones the beginning of spring.

Hall mitsubishi (holland rd) is supposed to have them this month. Stop by there or call I believe he said they were gonna be the first or only ones getting them right away??
