Yeah the fastest i have been in car was corvette z06. 170-175 or so.

I didnt know a gsr's tranny and redline (valvetrain) would let you do that.

Those of you stating these speeds that you've done: are those the speeds you've read on your cars speedo? Has your speedo been calibrated for those speeds?

I'm asking 'cause when I had my bike dyno'd, it's top true speed was 168, even though my speedo read 180. And according to the dude dynoing my bike he said most speedos are off by 20mph or more at those speeds as he was surprised mine was as close as it was.

I've been told cars are the same. So if you're speedo is reading 160; that doesn't mean that's what you were doing.............

As for the EVO getting clocked at 146; badass!!!!!!!!!! Too bad he got caught; but at least he's got proof!

I have heard the same thing. My roommate got pulled over for doing 137mph on 264, but his speedo said 150+

yup... i topped out my NT eclipse at 150 but when i had the speedo calibrated it was found to be off by a few mph starting around 70mph so i was probably only going about 140

Thank you haha, I no longer have a license because I was going fucking 85mph with a perfect record (5 positive points) even THEN they wanted me in jail for a month.

Why the fuck does Va have to be so different?

edit: when I get it back I guess I need to do a top speed run.
