engine was lowered when swapped in, no space to back out tranny, what do i do ?

4 bolts at the pumpkin

2 bolts for the carrier bearing support

i had to do this, the shit alsmost fell on my brother haha, but yeah it was nuts, we were both shaking the shit out of it and the tranny fluid was flying all over the place then it fell and it tilted over on my chest and it started runnign on me

Psh, I removed the tranny in my car by myself and had to put it back in by myself too. One handed bench press while the other hand guides the input shaft into the hole.

You're not working until you smell like tranny/diff fluid/oil.

from my experience, 240 trannys are a bitch and a half to remove anyways....you basically have to turn the bitch 180 degrees....(lol....is that why its called a 180sx in Japan??? ) ...if there is another easier way 240 gurus, sorry, didnt know it...but thats how we did it..

yeah, some guy told me that the other day, i have yet to put the bitch back because i lack the parts, but im def gonna try it when i put it back

Trans has to be rotated about 145* clockwise.

tilt the motor a bit

done and done.

Engine isn't lowered, S chassis just have really tight transmission tunnels. If the engine was lowered it would help, lol.
