ECu
i have a 89 crx and i need to find out what kind of ecu i have.....i dont know if it is a stock ecu or not bc of the previous owner.. can anyone tell me how i can figure this out.

Go to the passenger side floor board, the carpet should pull up at the top right corner. There will be four 10mm bolts, accompanied by a "ecu sheild." Take them off, take the ecu off of the bolts and look for the white sticker and look for the "p" and two numbers will follow it, that is your ecu code.
if its stock
Si ecu-Pm6
HF/DX ecu- Pm5 dual point ecu.
if its stock
Si ecu-Pm6
HF/DX ecu- Pm5 dual point ecu.

ok.. i went to my car and pulled off the ecu sheild.... i looked at the white sticker on the ecu and the only letters it said was "AB" and it also had a bar code on it. can anyone tell me what kind of ecu i have?

You're looking at the right sticker but the wrong letters.. There will be a string of numbers, and the ECU family code is in the middle of it.
