Default Dynometer to test tranny

Does anyone know if there's any shop in VA that has a dynometer to test a tranny that is not in the car? I've called a few places in the Hampton Roads area, and a guy at one shop said there was no shop in the Hampton Roads area that had the machine to test it.

Just use the tried and true Crocodile Dundee method. Reach between the old legs and grab.
